Before you actually attempt any of the recipes you should know some basics about cooking. Anyone that reads and already knows these basic cooking concepts may find this sort of boring. So as a fair warning, I now suggest that you should move onto the more advanced areas of the site.

A good cook should know everything that is at his/her disposal. Cooking methods, ingredients, and cookware are 3 such topics one can learn about to help them on their quest of learning to cook. It is important because changing any of these things will affect how the food tastes, how long it takes to cook things, and can make cooking fun and simple.
Here I will list different useful cookware with a short summary on what it is and how it can help you/what you can use it for.

Anyone that takes cooking seriously might consider it an art. So let’s say if cooking is art, and we are the artists, then the ingredients we use are the colors that we use to paint our masterpiece. Changing just one ingredient in a recipe could change the taste of everything- so even though we may know many ingredients already, it is important to learn about other possibilities as well.
Here I will list new ingredients, give a summary of what it is and its uses, then finish with suggesting some recipes you could try them in.
Note: Various fruits, vegetables, meat, grains, oils, spices, etc. are all considered ingredients and will be listed as such.

Cooking for diets can be tough at times to say the least. From watching sodium levels to restrictions on protein, I’ve seen it all. Seeing as I am on a special diet of my own, I would like to dedicate this category for those of you looking for diet targeted recipes to learn to cook with.
